Technical Description

CSI Web Server Linux provides a solution for those who want to run the CSI Web Server in a Linux environment. The package includes a Linux version of the CSI Web Server and the CSI Web Server Administrator, as well as a Windows version of the Web Publisher. The Web Publisher is installed on a Windows machine and used to publish RTMC or RTMC Pro projects to the Linux-based CSI Web Server.

CSI Web Server for Linux has the following Linux version requirements:

  • For Debian OS, X86_64 Version ≥ 7.0
  • For Ubuntu OS, X86_64 Version ≥ 14.04
  • For CentOS/RHEL OS, X86_64 Version ≥ 7.0
  • For Fedora OS, X86_64 Version ≥ 19

CSI Web Server for Linux is optimized for use with projects created with the RTMC 4.x development tools (standard RTMC Development or RTMC Pro). Although CSI Web Server for Linux can use projects from version 2.x or 3.x development tools, the web display may look different than what’s expected. For best performance, RTMC version 4.x development tools should be used to develop projects for CSI Web Server for Linux.
