The 21852 is offered for customers who order a new data logger and, in addition to the Campbell Scientific calibration over the selected temperature range, require calibration verification from a certifying body that is A2LA accredited to the ISO 17025 standards. A paper certificate of the A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration is provided.

New Dataloggers
When the 21852 is ordered with a new datalogger, Campbell Scientific builds and calibrates the datalogger, and then sends it to Simco Electronics in Salt Lake City, UT. After Simco receives the datalogger, they perform a calibration validation under the A2LA/NVLAP accreditation. Simco also provides a calibration certificate.
Used Dataloggers
When the 21852 is ordered on a datalogger's RMA (Returned Material Authorization), Campbell Scientific's Repair Department recalibrates and repairs the datalogger, and then sends it to Simco. After Simco receives the datalogger, they perform a calibration validation under the A2LA/NVLAP accreditation. Simco also provides a calibration certificate.
