the 17206 is an SC-IRDA infrared interface factory installed in the enclosure bulkhead. When you purchase an enclosure and the 17206, Campbell Scientific will install the SC-IRDA in the enclosure bulkhead before the enclosure leaves the factory.The SC-IRDA is secured and sealed in the enclosure with a compression fitting. The SC-IRDA is an infrared interface that facilitates communication between the datalogger and an infrared-equipped PDA. This device allows you to interrogate the datalogger on site without opening the enclosure.
Read MoreThe 17206 must be ordered at the same time as a standard or prewired enclosure. When the 17206 is ordered, Campbell Scientific will install an SC-IRDA Infrared Interface in the enclosure's case. The SC-IRDA provides an infrared interface that facilitates communication between the datalogger and an infrared-equipped PDA. This device allows you to interrogate the datalogger on-site without opening the enclosure. PConnect software or PConnectCE software is required. The SC-IRDA is secured and sealed in the enclosure with a compression fitting.
