The BP7 is a rechargeable, 12 V, 7 Ah battery that can power a Campbell Scientific system that has components that have average power requirements, such as satellite transmitters. This battery is typically recharged with a panel or wall charger. It does not fit in the ENC200 enclosure. However, an ENC10/12, ENC10/12R, or ENC12/14 is adequate for most CR200(X) applications.
Read MoreThe BP7 is a 7 Ahr, sealed rechargeable battery. This battery is shipped with the #17374 cable, the #10508 enclosure mounting bracket, four screws, and four grommets. The 17374 cable terminates in pigtails that attach to the datalogger's terminal strip or the MorningStar regulator (a component of the 25295 power supply).
When used with the CR200(X) series, remember that the 17365 is too large for the ENC200 enclosure. It can be housed in any of our standard environmental enclosures (e.g., ENC10/12, ENC12/14).

The BP7 is often used with data loggers that include their own charging regulators, such as the CR200(X)-series and CR6. It is also used with the 25295 PWS100 Power Supply.
The BP7 requires a desiccated, non-condensing environment; a Campbell Scientific enclosure is recommended.
