The 10616 consists of a 10 W solar panel and a mounting kit. It's used to float charge the internal sealed rechargeable battery of an ET106 station with a serial number of 2005 or lower. The solar panel's cable terminates in stripped and tinned leads. Therefore, it will not work with the newer ET106 stations. Prior to October 2003, the 10616 included a sealed rechargeable battery.
