I need to set up a monitoring network using 20 pcs of CR216, and they are allocated in a streight line which about 3 Km, this means as follow:
PC-RF416......CR216(1).....CR216(2).........//.....CR216(20),
could CR216 work as a datalogger and also a repeater for 2.4G wireless transmition? If not, any other solution ?
The current generation of the CR216 is incapable of acting as a PakBus router which is the functionality needed for a repeater. In order to achieve this, you will have to place either an RF416 configured as a wireless-only router in the locations needed as repeaters or you will need to place a CR1000 or CR800 in those locations.
