Remembered password

Having watched the meeting video again one of the first instructions was not to click on 'remember me' - should have watched that video first because both Lynne and I have done this - is there a way to undo it?

If you logout manually using the link at the top it should remove the cookie that preserves that information. If for some reason it does not, you can clear the cookies for campbellsci.com and it will be removed.

Tried logging out as suggested then clearing out all cookies, caches and history but using FF5 still as soon as I go to the log-in screen my email and password are still there - I guess the answer once again is to use Chrome.

Sorry I misunderstood the issue. This is something that has been saved in your FireFox memory. By checking the remember me option when logging in. A cookie will be created that will allow your login to be processed as you load the page. What you are currently running into is your browser has saved your login information to its memory. It is no longer stored in a cookie.

To remove your password and email when it has been saved to your browser memory. You'll have to go to the FireFox Menu -> Options -> Options. When this has opened a window you should see a list of options at the top. Click on Security then at the bottom of the options click on Saved Password.

This should bring up another window with a list of all the websites for which your browser has saved usernames and passwords. Select the eu.campbellsci.com and click remove at the bottom. The password should no longer be loaded when you bring up a login page.

The reason he mentioned not saving your login information is that it would enable anyone who has access to your computer to have access to all of your content. Enabling them to change anything on your website. The ability to save this information is for convenience of the user. But must be weighed against the possibility of having it used maliciously.
