Remote data collection using NL115, CR3000 and CR1000

Hi
I have been asked to setup a system for automatic retrieval of data from a remote location.

The equipment we have is
A NL115 connected to a CR3000 which is connected to a CR1000 via RS-232.
To enable communication from the remote location we have purchased a small computer and a 3G donge to enable communication.

My question is what is the easiest way to set the system up?

Should i share the internet connection of the computer to the ethernet of the NL115 and use LoggerNet on a remote computer?

Or should i install LoggerNet on the computer with the data logger?

Is there a way where i can read the data live (via rs232 or ethernet) and use a program of my own creation to store the information in a remote database?

I have no experience with these devices and i am open to other suggestions from those with experience achieving the same goals.

Thanks
Sean

Sean,

Start with LoggerNet 4.0, go to network planner to build you network and to create the config files for each component of your network. Then use SCWin or Short Cut to create the programs in the logger to get you started.
