Flow rate control with CR1000

kernow Jun 30, 2011 04:17 PM

I would like to control flow rate in a system which has a peristaltic pump (accepts a 0-10V control signal). I intend to use an SDM-CV04 voltage output module with the CR1000. Flow rate measurement will also be input to the logger, to allow adjustment of pump speed as required. I suspect a PID control algorithm will be required.

Has anyone any experience of this type of application using a CR1000 or other logger - thanks in advance, Harvey

Look at the example for the PWM instruction, there is some back PID code in there. You could modify this to vary an output voltage rather than use the PWM instruction.

Same question here,
Harvey do you happen to still have the code?
Cheers!
