CR5000 communication.

cellectronic Aug 30, 2010 09:39 AM

Hi All
I am using Loggernet 3.1 to communicate and collect data from a CR5000.
Although there are a few abnormalities going on !
When I try to connect, and the connection is made after several seconds a message pops up informing me of communications failure. Secondly when I view the downloaded table I notice the date and time is wrong.
Is Loggernet compatible with a CR5000 or do I need PC9000 ?
I am using the sc932 interface at 19200 Baud.
Many thanks for any advice.

Loggernet is fully compatible with the CR5000 and Loggernet 3.1 should be OK with a CR5000 of similar age. To make sure there is not incompatibility issue I would advise you first to upgrade either to Loggernet 3.4.1 which is available free to you from www.campellsci.com/downloads OR buy an upgrade to Loggernet 4.0. Also upgrade the operating system in the CR5000 to the latest version. You can get a copy of that from the same website.

You should find the two work fine together.

Are you using an SC932 because the RS232 port is being used for something else, if so what?
