RM Young 85000 anemometer + datalogger

I am upgrading 7 local weather stations in my area to RM Young 85000 (or 85106 Marine Model) ultrasonic anememoters. I am currently using old CR10 data loggers. I would like to upgrade to the newer CR1000 data loggers. Is anybody using this combination? Are there any compatibility concerns? I would prefer to use an RS-232 output from the 85000 anemometers to the CR1000.

I noticed that the Campbell Scientific website carries manuals for the 85000 and 85106 sensor (see link below), but the sensors are not sold on this site. Is there a reason for this?

I have built quite a few weather stations with CR1000 and 85000. I would stick with the SDI-12 communications, it's much simpler. You can ask RM Young to ship them to you set up in the SDI-12 mode.
