CR10(x) percent "%' response?

wpns Jun 20, 2010 04:18 PM

I've gotten one of my CR10(x) loggers in a state where it's responding with a percent "%" instead of an asterisk "*" when I try to talk to it using the L, A, J, K commands in Appendix C of the manual.

When I do the unlock command, it's telling me something about the OS?

Unlock...1234L
V3 S2400 P0 M256 E0 A8388096 F4932791 R4932792 L3425154 D2 C3481
%

Any idea how to get back to 'normal' mode?

Thanks!

That looks like the response from a storage module. Do you have an SM16M attached to your logger?

If you had though you would need to send the 1M command to the logger to get it to start to talkthrough to the storage module.

To get it out of this mode, if that is the cause, type "M"<enter>.

That was it, somehow it got stuck in SM mode, and sending the M\r got it back!

Many Thanks!
