Error in Data retrieval through PC208W

ads32 Jun 17, 2010 12:26 PM

The data retrived from CR10X data logger is showing a wrong year record of 2006 in stead of 2010 from 28th March 2010 onwards. Please suggest the remediation of this error. whether the Data logger is corrupted or the storage media or the Pc208W software?

I did some basic checks on this with a CR10X and cannot make the date go wrong on roll-overs at midnight around that date. Can you please confirm what operating system you have in the datalogger and also where you see the spurious data in PC208W, e.g. when viewing data with View, or running reports with Split, or converting data from a storage module?

There should be no inherent problems in the data collection process and conversion in PC208W as the year code stored in final storage in the CR10X logger is treated as any other four digit number.

I would also check the lithium battery in your logger, in case the problem is the result of a power outage and the logger reverting to its own real-time clock, which could stop or be corrupted if the lithium battery is discharged.
