Probe HMP 45

trudinas Jun 16, 2010 12:07 PM

Hello:

I was wondering if you can connect an HMP 45 DCB probe in differential mode. I have seen that the HMP 45c supports connection in differential mode. Are both sensors equals?

Thank you.

If you are referring to the HMP45D probe, for temperature this has a 4-wire PRT output that would normally be measured in a 4-wire bridge using a TIM module (2 differential inputs), or perhaps using the current excitation of a CR3000/5000 (1 differential input).

The RH output has a ground sense wire, similar to the HMP45C so this can be measured in differential mode too.
