No CR800 instruction list in LoggerNet editor

Dilbert Jan 2, 2009 09:19 PM

I'm trying to edit a *.CR8 file in the LoggerNet CRBasic editor, but for some reason the instruction panel is always empty and there is no context-sensitive help in the editor itself. I recently installed LoggerNet, so I thought that maybe I needed to install the CR800 compiler stuff to get this to work. I downloaded and installed cr800_firmware07.exe, but this has had no effect.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What version of LoggerNet do you have installed? If the version you have was released prior to the CR800 release the files and registry entries would not be on the computer. If you have any version of LoggerNet 3, go to our web site and download the most recent patch to bring you to our current version which is 3.4.1.

A CR800.DEF file and a help file (either CHM or HLP, depending on the version) should be installed on the computer. You could check and see if these are on the computer in a C:\Campbellsci directory (there will be a subdirectory, but it may vary by version).

If installing the latest update does not help, you may want to call in and talk with an AE directly to see if there is a problem with file location or registry entries.

HTH,

Dana
