Remote Device Configuration

Anton May 18, 2010 03:04 PM

Is there a way of configuring the ftp, http, and telnet services remotely on a CR1000 with NL115?

This can be done by using the settings editor under PakBusGraph. To do this, start PakBusGraph and select the name of the PakBusPort that you use to communicate with the datalogger in the "PakBus Network" control on the tool bar or in the menu. You can then click on the node for your station and select "Settings" from the resulting context menu. Once the resulting dialog has loaded the settings, you should be able to find entries for the following:

- HTTP Service Port
- FTP Service Port
- FTP User Name
- FTP Password
- Ping Enabled
- FTP Enabled
- Telnet Enabled
- HTTP Enabled
- Transport Layer Security (TLS) Enabled

Thank you. That's exactly what I needed!
