RTMC patch update

Hi,

I'm trying to update my RTMC version to 3.1, that is available at http://www.campbellsci.com/2_1483_14_1.

I have Loggernet 3.4 and RTMC 2.4 (development and run-time) installed.

When I try to run the update patch, an error message appears saying that there's no version of RTMC installed, and the update requires a previous version, but I have a previous version (2.4) installed.

Anybody can help me?

Hello Arthurvr,

The 3.1 patch is an upgrade for version 3.0.

We offer upgrades within a major version number as a download from our web site, but an upgrade outside of a major version number requires purchase of RTMC/U.

Ok, now I understand.

Could you help me with another question?

I'm trying to use the RTMC WEBSERVER (3.1), but I'm having problems with some objects (like graphs and numeric boxes), they're showing exclamation marks.
Is this a version conflict? I need to use the version 3.1 of RTMC Development for RTMC WEBS working without this problems?

Yes, it sounds like an issue with version incompatibility. If the project was developed using RTMC or RTMC Pro 2.X, you would need to run it in the 2.x WebServer for all of the components to be displayed properly.

Essentially, all the version numbers (development tool, run-time engine & web server) need to be the same.
