Troubleshooting pressure of a 7500

LATR Mar 25, 2010 06:03 AM

Hi,

Our 7500 has recently started to log NAN's as pressure and CO2 / H2O has increased. I understand I need to zero and span, however I am wondering if that is going to solve the pressure reading issue or if not... Could you give me any suggestions to troubleshoot this problem???

Thank you!

Hello,

I don't think that zero and span procedure will bring your pressure readings back to normal. The problem you have looks like broken or damaged pressure barometer inside of the LiCor's LI7500 electronics box. I suggest to contact LiCor and obtain an RMA number for the repair. Before you do so, contact Dan Anderson at LiCor by email or by phone and ask him for his opinion on this.
