SDI-12Recorder timer

vatechnologies14 Feb 25, 2010 08:15 PM

I am using the CR800 and an SDI-12 v. 1.2 compliant sensor.

In the help file for the SDI-12Recorder function it says, "If the sensor response time is greater than the scan time, the datalogger will issue the C! or M! command and set a timer, which, when elapsed will trigger the datalogger to issue the D0! command on the next scan."

If the C! command is issued to sensor 0, and the sensor responds with 09005, and if the scan time is set to 30 seconds, then the timer mentioned in the help file should be set, correct?

In this case, what will the timer be set to? What is the maximum time the timer can be set to?

Thanks!
