I came across an old CR500 and when I was replacing the Lithium internal batteries of a couple other data loggers, I was surprised to find see that there was no internal battery for the CR500. I cannot find the manual/spec sheet for the CR500 and I saw that the CR800 does not have an internal battery. I was hoping that I could get verification that it was manufactured w/o an internal battery.

For the 500 series, the internal battery was introduced with the CR510. The CR800 does have an internal battery. However it is a different type than the one located in the CR510.
