analog cup anemometer and winddirection set

Mavada Oct 28, 2009 10:46 PM

Hello,

I have a analog cup anemometer and winddirection set and temp/hum and a radiation meter from Mierij Meteo.
This windsensors have a termination of 4-20mA @ 0..50 m/s. By means of. a capacitance of 124 Ohm becomes this 496mV..2480mV instead of the called 4-20 mA ranges.
Temp -40 to 60C also 4-20 mA ranges.
Hum 0-100% also 4-20 mA ranges.

I want to connect these on my CR1000 datalogger.
What do i need to get it working on the CR1000?
And what are the costs...

Regards,

Mark

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum.

You'll need a current shunt for each 4-20mA signal. You can get a manual and quote from: http://www.campbellsci.com/curs100

Janet
