wb4 Oct 20, 2009 06:18 PM

I recently purchased a 05103-66 and sutron 6661-1256 interface assembly. This is not what I thought it was but I would like to try to get this going. It is used military surplus but I need input on what else I need to get this up and going. Its a black- Ice resisting airplane assembly with plastic nose and prop. Can any onehelp??

wb4,

05103 is the model number for a R.M. Young Company Wind Monitor sensor. Not sure what the -66 designates. You may want to contact them to see if it's a special model made to interface with the Sutron adapter. I suspect that adapter is designed to take the raw inputs from the wind monitor and convert them to something like analog voltages. You might be able to interface the 05103 directly to any number of CSI loggers once you find out more info from RM Young.
