Modbus TCP

The Cr6 specs show that it will perform Modbus TCP. My question is can it pass through Modbus traffic from a tcpip connection(cellular w/static) to the Modbus slave.

Modbus software on a computer > Ip address of modem:502 > Tcpip connection to logger > Modbus slave.

Has anyone ever tried this?

Just use port 502 for the port in the ModbusSlave instruction.

You will need to use PPP mode with the datalogger and modem.
