Is it possible to add an operational amplifier between a load cell and a CR1000? The excitation voltage of the load cell is 5000 mV but the CR1000 is only capable of delivering 2500 mV. Thanks
Just a thought, but if the load cell is a passive strain gage bridge circuit it may not matter, and 2500 mV may be sufficient.
Also, adding additional circuitry introduces sources of drift and noise that could result in a less accurate measurement.
