Irgason

Camilo Sep 7, 2015 09:04 PM

Hi,

I'm running an Irgason, but I did not find the way to save and download data. I've been reading Campbell's manual but I do not understand how to do it.

Could anyone help to me?

Thanks

Camilo,

This depends on what you mean by "running an IRGASON". If you are using a logger such as our CR1000, CR3000, CR6 you will be using a program that saves the data to a compact flash card. This is because the time series data is usually at 10 or 20Hz and it will be quickly overwritten on the internal 4 MB of logger storage. If you are using RS485 to another DAQ system you will need to develop code on that platform to save the data on your own. The IRGASON itself does not have any memory to store data. We sell programs here at CSI for use with our loggers and memory modules.

Hi Camilo,

If the program is our CRBasic EC Program (p/n 18442 or 18443) then the wiring of the EC100 to the datalogger is as follows (colors only apply if using our CABLE4CBL-L):

'*** Beginning of EC100 (IRGASON or EC150 w/ or w/o CSAT3A sonic head) wiring ***
'SDM-C1 SDM Data (green)
'SDM-C2 SDM Clock (white)
'SDM-C3 SDM Enable (brown)
'G SDM reference (black)
' SDM shield (clear)

'+12V power (red)
'G power reference (black)
' power shield (clear)
