AndrewS Jul 10, 2015 07:08 PM

Hello,

I am having trouble connecting to my CR10X logger. Noting has changed since the last time i connected but now i get the following message when trying to connect.

Failure: 7/10/2015 14:38:15.186
transaction failure","unreachable destination","check/set clock
Failure: 7/10/2015 14:38:15.186
delivery failure received","timed out or resource error

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you would need any additional information about the system. I do not have a vast technical knowledge of this system. It was installed and i am just supposed to download the data once a month. Thank you.

Hi,

If you can, test the functionality of the logger with the keypad / display mod. CR10KD. If you can't, verify the presence of 12V and 5V on the terminal and also the absorption in milliamps on 12V.

Rightly so, as have already said, the CS-IO must be converted into RS232. (there are some models for to do this) or even USB directly. Now many PCs do not have serial ports.

You would try with Hyperterminal or devices config utility (unknown) at various speeds (up to 9600max). Sending return the logger must respond with an "*" and with "A" the logger send the statuts.
