Scheduled data collection

Hello,

I am trying set a scheduled collection in a CR1000 data logger, but the collection is only done when the data logger is connected to the PC via Loggernet. Is it strictly necessary to stay connected? or there is another way to perform a scheduled collection.

No, you do not need to be actively connected to the datalogger. LoggerNet must be running on the PC and the schedule must be enabled. Do you by chance have "Force Connection" in the Connect window's Edit menu disabled? This would cause the behavior you are describing.

Thank you Dana,your advise was very helpfull.

I have checked it out and I have set "Force Connection" enabled. Right now it works.
