Dear all,

I want to create a packbus network with wires between CR1000 and CR10XPB. When I take a RF416 radio it’s done, but when I want replace radio by wires it doesn’t work. I call your for find a solution to create a packbus network with wire.

Idealy, I want communicate with com port of the CR1000 (C1,C2) between the CS I/O port of the CR10XPB. What is the procedure to configurate the the software, the CR1000 and CR10XPB.

Please help me.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

The CS I/O port requires some level of protocol in order to work. The simplest to use the modem enable protocol which requires the client to set the ring line and wait for the modem enable line. The discrete circuit in the SC32B does this and also provides optical isolation.

Thank you for your answer.

To link the CR1000 datalogger with CR10XPB, we have to use the SC32B on the CS I/O port of CR10XPB?

We can use the com port (C1,C2) of the CR1000? The protocol used is the RS232? What is the procedure in loggernet to configure the COM port of the CR1000? And what is the connection in this port?

Have you a tutorial for this configuration?

Thank you for your answer,
Have a good fay.
