Microhard bullet - CR1000 / 800 compatability

Since this Gateway is such low power compared to whats available lately I wonder about compatibility and whether Campbells supplies these and if there is a template available.

Thanks

I use the microhard ipn3g and they are absolutely wonderful.. Very low power consumption and completely compatible. I have 200 of them in the field.

Yes but what about "THE BULLET".

Honestly I cant say for sure... But I can compare the Ipn3g to the Bullet, and see no difference really. It has all of the same features. It would definitely be compatible with cr1000.. All it needs to have that functionality in an rs232 port. If you read the spec sheet it states that it supports serial server in many modes.. Including ppp and tcp/ip. So I have ZERO doubt of its compatibility.

My main reason for commenting is that I tested several modems to find one that I could sustain with very little solar and battery as I moved away from Raven XT's. After lots of research I found the microhard. In testing I found it to draw the same amount of power as a raven XT with a 1 minute download interval of my datalogger. This was signifigant because all of the others I tested were at least 3x.. I tested all modems on a 1 hour average mAh draw.

Does anyone have a template, or know the settings to use in order to allow the MicroHard modems to talk over serial via AT&T?
