CR800 burst mode?

benjaminc Sep 4, 2009 06:34 PM

A quick question: does the CR800 support a 2kHz (max) burst mode for the VoltDiff command, like the CR1000? I couldn't find any documentation to indicate that it does, but such documentation was only recently added for the CR1000, so I thought it worth checking.

Thanks,
Benjamin

It will support exactly the same options (with a lower channel count of course) as the CR1000. This may in reality mean the max number of readings per sec may be lower in some configurations as one of the fastest options for the CR1000 is measuring all the channels in one swath, so with less channels available the headline figure will be lower.

The option to repeat measurements on the same channel will be the same though which runs in a little short of 2kHz for both loggers.

Please refer to the cR1000 manual for more details.
