Howto configure an Modem on LoggerNet Server

Hi,

i am using an Loggernet Server on an SLES Server (Linux) and try to use an Modem to Connect to Remote Sites. What means these Error Messages and how can i fix it?

Serial Read Failure means the com port is already in use by another piece of software or nonexistent. The operating system is not giving Loggernet access to the port.

The other errors are a result of the communications process failing caused by the port not being available.
