We have a Sonic Anemometer/thermometer model SPAS/Y2 (Applied Technologies, Inc.) (http://www.apptech.com/spas-style-ultrasonic-anemometer.html). We want connect the ultrasonic anemometer at Campbell Scientific datalogger CR1000 (10HZ), but I don’t have idea to programming the Campbell and the wiring of anemometer for this datalogger. Can you help me?

Are you looking to record analog or digital data from the sensor? You will need to wire the sensor differently depending on the answer to this question.

Based on the PDF manual available on the product website, I will assume you want to receive digital data from the sensor. If this is the case, follow these steps:

-Locate "COM1" on the CR1000 wiring panel and wire Pin 7 to the terminal immediately to the left marked with a "G" symbol next to it.
-Pin 8 should be wired to the Tx port under "COM1".
-Pin 9 should be wired to the Rx port under "COM1".
-Locate "POWER OUT" on the wiring panel and wire Pin 12 to a 12V terminal.
-Pin 13 should be wired to the ground terminal "G" immediately to the left of the 12V terminal.
