RF411 hanging?

131 Aug 12, 2014 11:44 PM

G'day all,
I've got a CR211x logging data from an SDI12 level sensor. Communications is via a Sabre1 BGAN terminal on a CR850 logger, through an RF411 radio modem to the CR211x. I'm staging the system before remote area install, it's been operating correctly for about a week, until comms to the CR211x ceased yesterday. On checking the system this morning, the RF411 had no LEDs operating, I removed the lead from the CR850 CS I/0 port, when I refitted it the RF411 came back up and remote comms was again available. I'm reluctant to deploy the setup in the field if the RF411 is likely to fall over. Has anyone had the same issues? Is their any way I can work out what the issue is with the RF411, or should I return it to Campbells for assessment, where the issue may not be able to be duplicated?

Cheers,

Mick.

You should contact CSA with the SN of the RF411 to see if that unit was affected by a power up issue addressed in a customer notice letter.
