Porstatus Rx flashing

A device is connected in RS232 to the Com1 of a CR3000 and the Portstatus 2 (Rx) is flashing hazardously!

Is it normal?

Hi

an RS232 device connected to the CR3000-Com1 port involves the use of C1(Tx) and C2(Rx)of the CR3000, so I think the C2 is flashing by the data transmitted from the RS232 device.
