NL115 / RS232 priority

fi Jun 6, 2014 02:30 PM

Hi,

Is somebody know if there is priority order between NL115 and RS232/CSIO for the datatables access?

For exemple when we launch the data collection with LoggerNet (GSM network),

Is the CR1000 stop to write on the compact flash during the data transmission (in order to avoid priority conflict)?

Regards,
Firmin

The logger will not stop writing to a card during communications. There should be no access conflict as you can read from a card that is being written too.

The only issue you might find will be if you are trying to collect data that is about to be overwritten. If that happens you risk losing data, so it is best avoided, i.e. make sure all the data is collected before there is any risk of it being overwritten.
