RS-232/Bluetooth for LoggerLink

mwassmer May 23, 2014 04:33 PM

I have a CR1000 system that is currently configured as follows:
- C1-C3: 5 SDM devices
- C4: Clock for 2 AM16/32Bs
- C5-C6: Resets for 2 AM16/32Bs
- C7: SDI-12 sensors
- C8: Empty
- RS-232 port: RS-485-to-RS-232 adapter for RS-485/Modbus devices

My client is installing LoggerLink on an Android tablet to control some setpoints and I'd like him to use Bluetooth b/c the Wi-Fi connection is a little shaky. Considering that I'm already using C1-C7 and RS-232, are there any options for adding a Bluetooth adapter?

Hi, from your list the CS-IO port of CR1000 is free, so find a good RS232/Bluetooth adapetr and connect it with SC32B to CS-IO port.
I never made this connection, but I see no impediments.
