converting a CR1000 program to CR23X

Mariela May 21, 2014 06:05 AM

is it at all possible?

Hi all.

I have a program written for the CR1000 but i want to use it in an older logger, the CR23X. Therefore i need to convert it.
Is there a converting option in the loggernet program, or some other program that can do this conversion?

thank you in advance,
Mariela.

No, there isn't a conversion tool. I recommend you start the CR32X program in ShortCut (YouTube ShortCut tutorials here) https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCD0CAFEAD0390434
Make sure you look at the Generic Measurements and User Entered Expressions to get as complete of program as possible.

If you need to add more in Edlog you'll have to then go into Edlog and do a File | Document DLD, there navigate to the .dld file that ShortCut generated. If you have to go this route, another thing to look at is the Instruction Comparison in the CRBasic Help.

Good Luck!
