default.cr1 program side effect

kirving Aug 21, 2009 02:31 AM

Ok, not a side effect really, but in testing the great new "failsafe" program, default.cr1, in a CR1000 at OS17, whatever error caused the target program not to compile and run is not annunciated, either on a CR10kd keypad/display or on Windows LoggerNet (v3.3.1). The LoggerNet pop-up message indicates that:

The program has been sent to LOGGER.
CPU:Default.cr1 Compiled in SequentialMode

This feature will surely help keep us from "bricking" remote dataloggers, and I greatly appreciate it, but it would be nice if the error message from the failed compile could somehow be recovered.
