CS615 vs CS616

Frankwin May 15, 2014 01:57 AM

Has anyone had experience with upgrades and the older CS615 SM probes?
I have a number of sites with CS615 probes, but the loggers are failing (some Campbell, some other brands.)
I'm planning to upgrade the loggers to CR1000's while keeping the CS615 probes as they are mostly still working fine.
CRBasic does not seem to have a CS615 instruction, but I assume it can be done another way? Are there calibration equations available still for these?

Cheers
Frank

You can measure a CS615 in exactly the same way as on a CR10X, i.e. a period average instruction and then a polynomial instruction (which you spell out as a single line formula).

If you take your original CR10(X) program and run it through the Transformer program that is included in Loggernet it should convert the program for you, although it may need a few minor manual adjustments which it will warn you about.
