Loggernet and WIndows 7

embayweather Feb 8, 2014 09:59 AM

I am updating my machines and thus need to run Loggernet 4.1 on Windows 7. The forum suggest that this is OK but when I tried it on my daughters Windows 7 Home Premium it said that the program was not a valid Win 32 program, despite just having download the trial from your website.

Will it run any better from the original disk or is Home Premium not enough for it?

Your advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

I have not specifically tested on a "home premium" OS, but there should not be any issues... at least I don't think.

We have a lot of Windows 7 computers around here, both 32-bit and 64-bit. I'm not aware that Windows Home Premium would be "missing" any bits to run a Windows program.

I have run it on Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Starter with no issues.

Exactly which program is it saying it cannot run.

One other possibility I just remembered is you often get this message if you download a file and it has some subtle corruption in it. I would try the download again.
