CR1000 - running 2 programs

LogMan20 Feb 6, 2014 03:34 PM

Hi everybody,

I´m new at Campbell dataloggers and the first time programming a CR1000.

My question is: Is it possible to run two programs at the same time or do I have to do the measurement with only one program.

Thank you for your help.

Regards

The experts from CSI who monitor this site have more insight to this than I do but as far as I know the logger runs only one program at a time although you can have more than one stored in the logger.

That said, the programs can include subroutines, can run sections of the program at different scan rates and can be programmed to act as if more than one program is running at a time. I use the slow sequence section for this in most of my programs.

If you could explain a bit of what you are trying to do, there many people on the forum who can help you.

If programming this type of logger is new to you, you should consider either a training class at their facility in Logan, UT or purchase the self taught class you can use at your desk. You can find more information at the bottom of the CR1000 ordering information. It is part number 18421 and the cost is $275.
