CS I/O connection between peripherals

fpborges Feb 3, 2014 07:51 PM

Dear colleagues,

I'm trying to connect a CR1000 to a NL200 passing through a pair of RF401 radio modems. Is it possible to connect one radio to the NL200 via CS I/O port? Until now, I could establish an IP Port connection when I link the radio to the NL200 through the RS232 port.

In another thread you suggest to plan the network using LoggerNet "Network Planner", and this resource hasn't allowed me to connect these peripherals through CS I/O.

Regards,

Francisco.

The reason why the network planner does not allow the type of connection that you favour is because the NL200 is incapable of supporting that type of connection! The NL200 can be connected to a datalogger with the CS I/O port either as an SDC slave or as a CS I/O IP bridge device. It is incapable of acting as a master device on the CS I/O port.
