CR1000 not reading serial sensors

MTUeCe Jan 31, 2014 02:24 AM

Hello All,
I have a CR1000 monitoring two serial devices (Nortek Z-cell and YSI). Both are set correctly with SerialOpen for com1 and com2 respectively. This same code has been used many times with the exact same sensors successfully, the only difference with this setup is instead of using the RS232 connector with a cell modem, we are using the NL120. The TCP/IP is set up and working with no problems on our network, but for some reason the serial devices are not communicating with the Campbell (panel temp and battV measurements are good in table and public). I can use the Z-cell software on a PC and connect the ADCP directly to the serial port on the laptop and collect data, so I know the sensor is good. This is the only logger on the network.

Also, something that caught my eye and I can't seem to find info on is the commconfig for com1 and com2 is set to 16 in the status table. The documentation states that the value should be 0 - 4.

Any thoughts? Would the NL120 interfere with com1 or com2?
Using Loggernet, if that helps

Thanks in advance!
