Giving occupants ability to change temp setpoints

mwassmer Jan 30, 2014 01:35 AM

I am working on a building that will be controlled entirely by a CR1000 datalogger. I would like to give the occupants the ability to adjust the public variable that represents the temperature setpoint. So far, the best option I can think of is to run LoggerLink on a wall-mounted tablet. I'm wondering what approaches others have had for giving building occupants access to public variable setpoints in CR1000 systems.

Have you thought about using RTMC pro to build a web site that you can publish to the datalogger? You could use browser's with a custom interface to control the set point.

You could also use a constants table and change the values with a keypad.

The values could also be changed through the connect screen of Loggernet.
