"Table definitions are not current"

brunojc3 Jan 27, 2014 03:34 PM

Hello everyone,
I'm working with a datalogger CR1000 and today I received an error by logger net.
The first problem said:
"Failed to collect data for XX. Table definitions are not current. To update the table definitions for this station go to the setup Windows..... on the "Get Table Definitions"."

When I click on the button appears:
"If there are processes such as the Baler, Data Filter or Data Export running, they might lose data when the table definitions are update....."

Ok there are two buttons over there: Merge and Reset

I am afraid of of losing all my data doing this.
What shoud I do?

Thanks..
Cardoso, B.J.

Loggernet is giving you that warning because the table definitions for one or more of the tables in the logger are different than for what is in the Loggernet data cache. In order to resolve these differences you can either Merge or Reset. Merge will delete from the data cache and then recreate any tables whose header information is different from the information stored in the table definitions. Unchanged tables will not be deleted and recreated. By resetting the table definitions all changed tables will be deleted and recreated regardless of whether or not the change affected the structure of the data fields of the table. Either way, you will not loose the data that is in your logger.
