CSI Server

wx2day Jan 8, 2014 01:22 PM

I have a network of staions. For simplicity, 50 stations total; an all PakBus/IP network. I currently have 1 physical server w/ Loggernet 4.2 performing data acquisition. I am building a virtual loggernet server and would like to synchronize virtual to physical. I was wondering if I could give virtual CSI server a PakBusPortaddress of 4093 while the physical remains default 4094 and collect data in parallel?

Appreciate input

You should see no problems with two LoggerNet servers connecting to your network of dataloggers if the PakBus addresses are different, as you suggest.

If they are the same, you'll have problems with dropped communications.
