CR1000 GPRS communications with Wavecom Fastrack

machael Dec 16, 2013 09:36 AM

hi,

I read that it's not possible to let a CR1000 logger communicate with a Wavecom GPRS/GSM modem in GPRS mode?
I have a CR1000 logger and a wavecom Q2406B GSM/GPRS modem, I want to set a bridge between using a mobile phone SIM card which only has GPRS and normal voice service opened. Could you please advise me if that will works? And if so please further advise me what kind of cable to connect them? Generally, I know they probably use a RS232 cable with 9pin-to-15pin, is that right?

Will appreciate it so much if you can help me on it.

Sincerely,

Machael Young

It is possible to use a CR1000 with a Wavecom modem in GPRS mode. CS in Europe has sold them for a number of years. As a starter read this manual here:
