GSM band rate for CR3000

MaximeD Dec 10, 2013 03:43 PM

Hi all,

I have a question about the baud rate between my GSM and the CR3000.

I use Wavecom Fastrack.
I read manuel : http://s.campbellsci.com/documents/eu/manuals/cs_gsm.pdf
and CR 3000 manuel but i don't found the answer to my question...

I know I need to change the baud rate of the FASTRACK Supreme modem from 115200 to 19200 (baud rate for CR1000 datalogger by this command : "AT+IPR=19200;&W "
My connection is good with my CR1000.

BUT, i need to know the good baud rate for CR3000. I think it's not the same that CR1000.
Can you confirm me ?

Thanks you in advance,

Cheers,

Maxime

You can treat the CR3000 in exactly the same way. It is best to fix the baud rate in the modem and match it in the logger.

But when i do in exactly the same way with my CR3000, it doesn't work...

Have you turned off hardware handshaking in the modem?

MaximeD Dec 12, 2013 04:19 PM

No I don't think, how do you do it?

But I use an other GPRS to communicate with my CR3000 in applying the same way that with my CR1000.
It must be exist a difference but I don't know, and I can not find it for the moment.

Thank you for your help !

Cheers,

Maxime

Try AT+IFC=0,0 to turn off the handshaking in the modem. The serial ports on the loggers are slightly different so this may be more critical to match the CR3000.

To set up the configure of modem for connect with CR3000.
I tried the following AT commands:
AT+CBST = 7
T+IFC = 0,0
T&D0
T&S0
TS0=1
T&W
AT+CFUN=1
ATI4
