ARG 100 Gauge and CR10x

Trying to connect an ARG 100 gauge to a CR10X for a weather station. Programming through Short Cut gives one output, i.e. Total Rain fallen. This is what I need. However, in the Input Locations in numeric display, only Rain_mm available. Rain_mm_TOT is available to paste in from the 102 table but is non functional.
Can someone please advise me what I am missing here to be able to record the total rainfall fallen?
