LVTTL 3.3V Communication

fpborges Jul 3, 2013 04:00 PM

Dear colleagues,

I want to know if the serial ports (Com1 to Com4) of the CR1000 datalogger could accept a LVTTL 3.3V signal using the "SerialOpen" command with a TTL configuration (Code 19).

Thank you,
Francisco.

Not reliably I am afraid as the minimum high state voltage quoted for the control ports of our current loggers is 3.8V.

They will often accept a slightly lower voltage than that as being high but it is not guaranteed.

You might try using an external signal conditioner.
